Lethal ’ s GT500 runs an impressive 11.90@117.14 on the stock intake, tune, suspension and exhaust!

That's right guys. We had a very impressive run the other night up at Moroso Motorsports Park with our new 08' Shelby GT500. It was a nice cool evening with temperatures in the 40's and a very busy night as everyone was out trying to get some runs in with the not so common cool weather. The car as it stands now the Lethal Performance GT500 has the stock tune, stock intake, stock exhaust and stock suspension. The only modifications we have at this time are the PFAB Intercooler Reservoir, Canton Radiator Expansion Tank, AFCO Pro-Series Dual Pass Heat Exchanger and a set of Hoosier 315/35/17 drag radials mounted on some 17x10.5 Cobra wheels. The first run down the track Derek pulled 1.891 60ft which yielded a 7.705 1/8th and a very impressive 11.903@117.14mph 1/4mile time. So far this is the best 1/4 mile time we've seen out there for the level of modifications we have. Here's Derek's thoughts about the night and how the car felt. "Well, just got back home from the track and must say I am happy with how the night went. You already know what happened on the first pass, that was with a 1.91 60'. On the 2nd run, I decided to try the old remove stock filter trick, the computer didn't like that idea as I was going down the track. The car sixty footed better with a 1.85 I believe, but then once I hit 2nd, it started bucking and the boost gauge would peg and then go to 0 a few times in 2nd. I tried again in 3rd, but same thing so I coasted the rest of the way to a 13.9 IIRC. The 3rd and final run I had a 1.89 60' and ran out the back with another 11.90@117.xx. Next week, hopefully I can stop being lazy and get the 1 piece DS and UCA/LCA's on." "Also forgot to note that we were running into a 20 mph headwind and gusting to 25+ mph. The car was going crazy at the end of the track with all the wind, but it was pulling good."
